Flea Bomb

There are many things that can threaten or even cause us major inconvenience in our own homes and fleas can be one of them. We hardly ever think about fleas as a threat, but once they enter your home they can be hard to get rid of. The best way to treat the home when these tiny parasites invade it is by using flea bomb. Pets are usually blamed for carrying fleas into the house, but believe it or not humans are also guilty of carrying fleas and once they enter a location, they can nest in the carpet and other types of upholstery.
There are certain things to consider when purchasing a flea bomb and one if the most important is to select one that has the ingredient IGR. This is one of the most effective options because it prevents the fleas from reproducing. You must also ensure that you purchase enough flea bombs for the entire house as some are only designed to cover specific amounts of square footage. In preparation for the process, ensure that all pans, dishes, pots and silverware are removed from the house before you begin the flea bomb process, if they cannot be removed tape shut the cabinets in which they are kept, you must also close all the windows in the home.
If there are any food containers in the house ensure that they are properly sealed and any opened food that cannot be properly sealed must be thrown out. Furniture should be moved to surfaces that are not carpeted because the bomb spray may not be able to reach under areas such as beds or tables. If certain areas are left untreated the fleas may spread again and you will have to repeat the entire process so try to do it right the first time. Humans as well as pets should evacuate the house during this time along with pet cages, litter boxes, beds and tanks.
The instruction on the flea bomb is generally very easy to read and understand, but to make things a little easier here’s what you can do. First, after taking the necessary steps mentioned above, put the bomb in the centre of the area you want the flea bomb to cover. Newspapers should be placed under the container as well as around it, to protect the floor and the furniture. The next step is to read and carefully follow the instructions on the insecticide, which in simple tell you to release the bomb and leave the area immediately.
You must wait for at least three hours before you reenter the house that has just been fumigated. As soon as you do this, open all the windows; carefully wrap the flea bomb in newspaper then dispose of the container. Ensure that it is not placed in an area where kids or animals can reach it. Wash all surfaces including counters and other places that may have traces if the substance as it can be hazardous to one’s health, also vacuum the entire house.
